Hi, I’m Ansley.

I’d love to help guide you on your journey to becoming a more inclusive business, employer, parent, or friend.

As a disability and inclusion consultant, I bring 36 years of lived experience. I was lucky enough to get to know disability through my own perspective and my peers before I knew what society said about it.

Unique training

As a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy, I went on to work in the United States Merchant Marine.

Diverse experience

I navigated ships around the world and worked with crews from diverse backgrounds.

Today, I want to help you navigate conversations about disability and inclusion.

I know these conversations aren’t always easy.

Our society often doesn't know how to interact with disability.

We grasp at language and what to do or don't engage because we're afraid of making mistakes.

I started Heart-Centered Inclusion to help with this! I want people to be able to learn about disability and inclusion in an informative, welcoming way.

I've continued to learn more through advocacy training at the New Hampshire Leadership Series and about accessibility Deque University. I'd love to help your organization show: "Inclusion Happens Here."
