Our Values

  • Three disabled self-advocates are standing close together, smiling towards the camera. Left to right is a young light skinned woman with highlights, a young man of Asian descent with dark hair and glasses, and a young Black woman with braids.

    Nothing about us without us.

I try to consult with other disabled advocates on content and projects, especially where I don't have the same background or intersection of identities.

  • A hand is holding a glass ball towards the sky between the thumb and pointer finger. The background is a lake reflecting a gray sky, surrounded by green trees. The glass ball shows the lake, trees, and sky inside it clearly.

    Authentic Transparency

I share my resources and methodology. For example - What guidelines do I follow for audio description?

  • A zoomed out full body shot showing three Black and disabled friends (a non-binary person with a cane and tangle stim toy, a non-binary person sitting in a wheelchair, and an invisibly disabled femme) smiling and taking a cell phone selfie together.

    Accessibility and Equity

I try to incorporate accessibility and equity in what I do. I have a lot to learn. As a society, we're still learning how to accomplish this. I may not always succeed but it is still the goal I aim for.
